Well, Nicole, Ron and the girls are now back in Texas. They left late Saturday morning. I really enjoyed having Nicole and Melanie here with me last week, I just hope Nicole was not too bored with our simple country lifestyle. I think she was having withdrawal because as soon as Ron and the girls got back from WV Friday evening she and Ron took off for the movies. They didn't get back until almost 2:00 AM . . . hmmmm, I think they might have gone parking somewhere. LOL Here are a couple pictures taken just before they left. Wish I would have gotten a few more while Norman was here, although he always groans when I get the camera out.

Friday I took off a little early and Nicole, Melanie and I went to Mansfield to visit the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the "Little House" books. Mansfield is about 40 miles from our place. I must say I was impressed, I didn't expect it to be all that exciting but the houses are amazing and the museum is great with so many authentic artifacts and full of history. We did not allow enough time and when they visit again Nicole wants to take all the girls. Here are a few pictures from our visit.

Yesterday was a beautiful day here in the Ozarks so I loaded up my mule and went riding with some friends. I am so blessed to be able to do the things I love to do and I try to remember to thank God every day for what He has provided me, including my family and friends. There is so much beauty right before our eyes that we so often take for granted. Soon the Dogwoods will be blooming and I will share some pictures -- I never saw so many Dogwoods as we have here, the woods are just full of them.
Hope everyone has a good week -- God bless!
Kathy
