Doris report

For those that have not been brought up to date, Doris had her port put in yesterday evening. I just spoke to her a little while ago and she says they are about to take her for her first chemo treatment. They expect shrinkage of the tumor pretty quickly. She says the port does not hurt but she does feel the pressure of it when she gets in and out of bed. Her spirits are good and we joked about bed pans and such. She thinks York hospital changed from metal ones to plastic after Thelma tossed one once. They are giving her excellent care at York Hospital and most are pleasant and helpful to her. She is getting hungry and hopes to be brought some food today. Keep sending your prayers and positive energy her way. LaDonna
