Had to laugh about the bed pan tossing . . . Norman asked Julie the other day if Doris was being a good patient or if she was behaving like Thelma. Doris, I'm happy to say we got a good report that you are a model patient and the nurses like you. :)

So sorry to hear about Joe's mother. Gee whiz, those kids sure don't need that on top of everything. Julie and Joe, hang in there and you have lots of prayers coming your way!

Doris, I'll try to call soon. I am so tied up on the phone during the day it's hard for me to talk because I'm constantly interrupted. And I'm sure Norman will call again soon -- he is on his way to California, finally got a load that was worth putting on the truck. Now we have to try to get him out of there next week. The trucking industry is suffering big time, as is most of the country in this economic crisis.

I know we have a long prayer list, but please also pray for this country because it is in such a mess.
